Kathy has been creating beautiful looks on beautiful people her whole adult life.. Her passion and dedication for this industry truly shows at Shear Love Salon. She opened the salon in 2013 and has continued to grow her love for all things hair. Kathy believes in a strong education program and also personal growth. She is dedicated to her team and also to her clients.  Shear Love Salon uses the absolute best Hair Color lines from Loreal Professional that are ammonia free and truly result driven. For our retail products we use Kerastase. Kathy is classically trained from Vidal Sassoon school in London, and has worked for celebrity hair stylist, Jose Eber. Her innovative nature inspired her to create a salon company unlike any she has known. You will feel the difference the minute you walk in. You will be greeted by kind, caring and talented artists that will provide you with a wonderful experience that will keep you coming back. With education at her forefront, she has grown every stylist to reach their fullest potential. Kathy takes lead part in our Education Department, teaching classes regularly to our Salon Associates, helping them grow into the best version of themselves with knowledge and confidence to boot. When Kathy is not behind the chair, you can find her enjoying her family and also traveling.

Deanna Cashin

Deanna is Shear Love’s EXPERT STYLIST! She started pursuing cosmetology while still in high school at Duchess Boces. She then attended Capri Cosmetology School in Newburgh New York. Deanna specializes in beautiful, lived in color. Whether it is soft layers or a blended balayage you want, Deanna is your girl. She also is an extremely talented make-up artist. Deanna is certified in extensions. She will customize the perfect look for you. When she is not at the salon, she is enjoying her beautiful family and all things Disney. Kaitlyn Pettit

Kaitlyn graduated from Capri Cosmetology School in Newburgh, New York, in 2022. Since obtaining her license, she has dedicated hours towards continuing her education from regularly in-salon classes to professionally lead classes by Kerastase and L’Oréal Professional. Kaitlyn loves what she does. She is a fantastic colorist and a fantastic stylist. She knows how to listen to what you want and she knows how to deliver it. You will feel like you have known her all your life. Kaitlyn always knew she was going to work in the hair industry. From cutting her own hair when she was 5 years old to coloring her friend's hair in her teen years, she always had a passion for this industry. When Kaitlyn isn’t at the salon she likes to spend time with her husband, As a motivated and trend-forward stylist, Kaitlyn is so excited to welcome you in her chair!

Analuz Rivera

Analuz graduated from Empire Beauty school in Peekskill, NY in 2023. After graduating, she chose to work in a great salon company with wonderful education and guidance. We are so happy she chose  Shear Love Salon. Analuz truly cares about her clients and she always delivers a fantastic experience. She is dedicated to her craft and continues to grow. Analuz is a curly girl at heart and loves working with it. She enjoys being creative and it shows in her work. When she’s not in the salon learning and creating new looks, she enjoys taking dance classes and spending time with her family.. Analuz is excited to meet new people and can't wait to welcome you in her chair!

Devyn Angelo

New Talent Stylist

Stylist / Colorist / Facial Waxing / Makeup Artist

Devyn always had a love for all aspects of makeup since she was 13. She had had the opportunity to go to Los Angeles and graduated Cinema Makeup School in 2022. She then realized she wanted to take it further and get more comfortable with doing hair. After going to Empire Beauty School in 2023 she then found a love for doing hair. Devyn is a true professional with a heart of gold. She knows how to listen and she cares about her clients happiness. Devyn continues to learn and grow and perfect her skills. We are so happy she found her Hair Home at Shear Love and we know you will love her too. When Devyn is not in the salon she tries to find ways to continue her education, enjoys spending time with her family, and traveling!
